A partir de 2017, iniciaram-se as obras de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do t\u00e9rreo da Escola Superior de Ci\u00eancias da Sa\u00fade (ESA) e a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de equipamentos de microscopia de alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o. O \u00eaxito dessa fase foi resultado da coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre a UEA, o Instituto de Biof\u00edsica Carlos Chagas Filho (IBCCF\/UFRJ), o Centro Nacional de Biologia Estrutural e Bioimagem (CENABIO) e o Instituto Nacional de Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia de Biologia Estrutural e Bioimagem (INCT\/INBEB), que contribu\u00edram para a defini\u00e7\u00e3o da infraestrutura, escolha de equipamentos, forma\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica e sele\u00e7\u00e3o de profissionais.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Essa parceria segue ativa, fortalecendo o car\u00e1ter multiusu\u00e1rio do CMABio e apoiando \u00e1reas que demandam instrumenta\u00e7\u00e3o avan\u00e7ada, metodologias especializadas de preparo de amostras e inova\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica. Entre os campos estrat\u00e9gicos de pesquisa est\u00e3o a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade amaz\u00f4nica, a prospec\u00e7\u00e3o de mol\u00e9culas bioativas e o desenvolvimento de novos materiais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2021, o Centro alcan\u00e7ou um novo marco ao ser contemplado na Chamada P\u00fablica MCTI\/FINEP\/FNDCT\/CT-INFRA \u2013 PROINFRA, viabilizando a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de um cromat\u00f3grafo l\u00edquido acoplado a espectr\u00f4metro de massas. Esse investimento ampliou significativamente a infraestrutura, abrindo novas perspectivas em metabol\u00f4mica e prote\u00f4mica \u2014 \u00e1reas essenciais para a caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o de perfis metab\u00f3licos e proteicos, compreens\u00e3o de processos fisiol\u00f3gicos, desenvolvimento de bioprodutos, valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade amaz\u00f4nica e aplica\u00e7\u00f5es em sa\u00fade e biotecnologia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte desse processo de consolida\u00e7\u00e3o, o CMABio se firmou como espa\u00e7o de forma\u00e7\u00e3o e difus\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, oferecendo cursos e simp\u00f3sios sobre biologia parasit\u00e1ria, pat\u00f3genos de import\u00e2ncia m\u00e9dica e t\u00e9cnicas avan\u00e7adas em microscopia e microan\u00e1lise. Essa atua\u00e7\u00e3o, aliada \u00e0 expans\u00e3o para metabol\u00f4mica e prote\u00f4mica, evidencia a voca\u00e7\u00e3o do Centro para integrar instrumenta\u00e7\u00e3o de ponta, inova\u00e7\u00e3o e capacita\u00e7\u00e3o, posicionando-o como refer\u00eancia regional em pesquisa biom\u00e9dica e biotecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div bioprospec\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>. O centro disp\u00f5e de uma \u00e1rea dedicada ao processamento de amostras, equipada para a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o e an\u00e1lise de sistemas biol\u00f3gicos e biomateriais, e conta com instrumentos de \u00faltima gera\u00e7\u00e3o que permitem estudos multidisciplinares em sa\u00fade, biotecnologia, biodiversidade amaz\u00f4nica e desenvolvimento de bioprodutos.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre os
